ERP, planning and MES for manufacturers

Complexity in. Control out.

POM brings ERP, CRM, production planning, MES and accounting together in one system – one interface from quotation to bookkeeping. The modular kit for manufacturers: interlocking modules, born inside a real manufacturing company.

30 days, every module, no contract.

The starting point

The order lives on three notes, two whiteboards and in one spreadsheet.

Anyone who plans production knows it: the schedule is current – until someone changes it and tells no one. Every workstation works from its own version. Asking around costs more time than the work itself.

01

No shared truth

Three departments, three versions. Whoever asked last is right.

02

Changes evaporate

A rescheduled date reaches the shop floor too late – or never.

03

No view ahead

Bottlenecks only show up once they have already happened.

04

Off-the-shelf software

Large ERP systems can do everything – except adapt to how you work.

The difference

Many islands – or one system.

Today. Ten to twenty programs glued together by interfaces – and one order that looks different in each of them. (ERP, Accounting, CRM, Excel, Shop floor, Time tracking, QA folder, Shipping, Paper)

With POM. One interface, one database, one state – from quotation through production to accounting. (ERP, CRM, Planning, MES, Quality, Accounting)

The journey of an order

One order. Six stations. One truth.

Scroll along: this is how a production order travels through the plant – and POM knows where it stands at every moment.

  1. 01

    Work preparation

Order created, bill of materials and operations attached, due date checked.

  2. 02

    Planning

Scheduled for week 38 on line 2 – POM suggests who is qualified for the operation.

  3. 03

    Production

Crimping and assembly are running. Every workstation sees what comes next.

  4. 04

    Feedback

Booked at the shop floor terminal: real times and quantities instead of estimates.

  5. 05

    Inspection

Characteristics checked, result documented – with VIC also camera-based.

  6. 06

    Shipping

Label printed, shipment handed over. The due date is met.

Production Operations Management

POM at work

  1. 01

    The day at a glance

On start-up POM shows what matters today: overdue items, appointments, absences, open tasks. Everyone arranges the tiles themselves.

  2. 02

    Order overview

Every order with article, quantity, due date and status. Overdue work sits at the top, not in row 400 of a spreadsheet.

  3. 03

    Production planning

Distribute orders across operations and weeks. Bottlenecks become visible before the due date makes them visible.

  4. 04

    One server, every workstation

POM runs on your server, every client works on the same database. Roles and permissions decide who sees and changes what – the shop floor reports back, management evaluates.

Inside the system

POM as it really looks.

No renderings, no mockups: actual POM screens. All names and figures are sample data.

The Today dashboard: whatever needs attention today sits on top – sorted before the day starts.

Modules

You pay for what you actually use.

Orders, planning and master data are included in the base price. Everything else – from inventory management and accounting through shop floor data and MES to multi-company operation – you add when you need it. Every module interlocks with the others: whatever is entered once, each additional module uses too – the more modules, the more runs by itself.

Industries

Built for companies that manufacture to a deadline.

Wherever an order passes through several operations, quantities matter and the delivery date is not negotiable, POM helps. The industry is secondary – what counts is that you manufacture.

Cable assembly & electrical

Many variants, small batches, every order different. Exactly the environment POM grew up in.

Machining & contract work

Turning, milling, drilling to customer order. Plan machine capacity instead of guessing it.

Sheet metal

Cutting, bending, welding, coating – four operations, four possible bottlenecks.

Plastics

Injection moulding and assembly with tool changes that want planning.

Textiles & sewing

Sewing, cutting, homework. Piece rate accounting is daily business here.

Assembly, packing & dispatch

Kitting, picking, shipping – with the delivery note on the same order.
