POM Multi-Site
Several sites, one system
Several locations in one system: site-specific workstations, calendars and holiday models.
- 01
The problem
The second site has different public holidays and workstations of its own – a system that knows only one location has no place for them.
- 02
How POM solves it
Locations as master data of their own: workstations and holiday models per site, plus filters that narrow lists and overviews down to one site.
- 03
The result
Every site keeps its workstations and holidays as master data of its own – and everything stays in one system.

Quick answers
Questions about POM Multi-Site
How does POM handle several sites in one system?
Sites are master data of their own within a tenant. Each site has its own workstations and holiday model; equipment and employees can also be assigned to a site. Filters narrow lists and overviews down to one site, for example in the Gantt chart. Everything stays in one database: customers and employees are maintained once for all sites.
Why does POM Multi-Site automatically include POM Enterprise?
Because sites are maintained in the tenant administration of POM Enterprise. Without that screen no further site could be created, so the configurator adds POM Enterprise automatically. You do not have to set up a second company for it: sites belong to a tenant, and one tenant can have several. Workstations, equipment and employees stay in the shared master data and are simply assigned to their site.
Can each site have its own public holidays?
Yes. Each site gets its own holiday model, such as Bavaria for one plant and Hamburg for another. The models are built from catalogues for all 16 German federal states and Austria, and POM calculates movable holidays for all future years. Days such as the Assumption can be switched on or off, and shutdown periods, special working days and half days can be added. Adopted days belong to you and are never overwritten by the catalogue.
What happens to our data when a second site is added?
It stays where it is. Your existing operation is already the first site in POM; with POM Multi-Site you create further sites and assign workstations, equipment and employees to them. You activate the new licence on your server without reinstalling, and all workstations pick it up. If you deselect the module later, the functions disappear – the data stays.
