Whether POM fits your existing server landscape is something we clarify up front. As a rule it runs on the server you already operate, additional hardware is rarely needed.
Set-up
We do the initial set-up together.
- Install the server and choose the operating mode
- Import master data and bills of materials from Excel or CSV
- Define roles and permissions
- Connect the first workstations
After that you install further workstations yourself, the installer takes a few minutes.
Updates
Updates are included in the subscription. Every update starts with a dry run that changes nothing and a database backup; going back to an older release is blocked. From December 2026 you install updates on your POM server only, the workstations update themselves.
