AOM · Asset Operations Management Coming Soon · In development
AOM is to become complete software for companies that rent out or hire out equipment, machinery, platforms, containers and vehicles: from the equipment fleet through reservations, contracts, handover and return with photos to maintenance, inspection dates, rental billing and reporting.
AOM is currently in development. We will name a date once it is fixed.
Stay up to datePlanned workflow Planned
POM follows a production line, TOM the job at the customer’s, LOM the shipment. AOM follows the item: requested, reserved, rented out, returned, inspected and billed. Then it is free again.
Envisaged Planned
The item is the common thread: location, reservations, photos and reports from handover and return, inspection dates and rental period all hang from it. Whoever asks whether it is free gets the answer at a glance.
The illustration below shows planned content with sample data and is not a screenshot of a finished program.
Planned functional areas Planned
The following areas are envisaged. They describe what we are working on, not what is usable today.
Every rental item with serial number, accessories and documents, also as a set of several parts. Plus its location: in the yard, with the customer, in the workshop or at a partner.
A calendar shows when each item is free. You take reservations in the office, or customers send requests through your website or a customer portal. Nothing gets booked twice.
The reservation becomes the rental contract. You set rates per hour, day, week or month and a deposit for each item or group of items.
At handover and return, take photos, record the condition in a report and have the customer sign, right on the tablet. The report stays with the item and the contract.
Record damage at return with a photo, schedule the repair and pass the costs on when the customer is liable.
Items you deliver and collect go into routes. Drivers see their stops in an app and record handover and return on site.
Maintenance and recurring inspections, such as statutory safety checks, with due dates per item. Operating hours and meter readings are taken into account so that due dates stand out in time.
If an item is missing, you hire it in from partners. Cross-hired items sit in the same plan and go through the same handover, return and billing.
Rental period, delivery and damage become the invoice, single or combined, also as an e-invoice.
Utilisation and revenue per item, idle time in the yard and a basis for replacement decisions. You see which items pay off and which only take up space.
