The problem
Where something is stored is known by whoever put it there. Routes are walked out of habit, empties stay with the customer, and replenishment comes on call.

How POM solves it
One layout per hall with halls, aisles, gates, machines, racks and locations – drawn in the editor, in two views. The pick route follows the path graph and avoids blocked aisles. From December 2026 POM also proposes relocations – a person decides.

How does it differ from the basic warehouse?
The basic warehouse in Warenwirtschaft keeps stores and storage locations, the stock ledger, reservations and stocktaking; picking comes from December 2026. POM Warehouse Logistics adds the site layout per hall, the warehouse map, the pick route, handling units, the container account for empties and internal replenishment with kanban, and, from December 2026, relocation proposals.
How is the pick route created?
POM calculates it over the path graph from the layout and shows how it was calculated. Blocked aisles are avoided.
Is there an app for the warehouse?
There is no app of its own. From December 2026, scanning happens in the “warehouse” device mode of the Windows application. Offline booking on the scanner is not possible.
